About Us

IntelliThink LLC was first incubated in 2003 when the founders decided there was an opportunity to more flexibly and effectively price and deliver strategic consulting services while broadening the range of firms to whom these services were offered. The founders had been in-house consultants and buyers of consulting services for years during their corporate careers. They'd become disenchanted with the “trusted advisor” who was supposed to continually find ways to make the customer's business better but somehow never got around to making it better off without them.

Our passion is to deliver value in every engagement, not just at the end but along the way providing the education and coaching to help customers understand and decide why and how to move forward to improved performance. Upon review of our Success Principles you’ll see we believe in building our client’s capabilities. Our business is about making YOU better, not just about making a buck. You’ll hear us openly advise you on how to use consultants: “Use ‘em, abuse ‘em and lose ‘em.” It continues to be our job to find new ways to help you improve and build your capabilities to maintain higher performance levels without us.

The hardest part of starting IntelliThink LLC was the process of simplifying how we communicate what we do. Once customers understood our services they had no problem keeping us busy. Business strategy and modeling, moving with clients from concept through implementation, necessitates a vast knowledge base and toolkit spanning process, people, technology and management – the common elements of any business capability. This web site shares in plain language descriptions of the services we offer.  Plain Talk helps translate and put in layman’s terms what can still be considered a lot of “consultant speak”.
